As long as vanity and arrogance find justifications, solidarity will only find excuses.
Compete or cooperate?
Consume or reduce?
Waste or reuse?
Throw away or recycle?

Can a change in our consumption habits contribute to greater social and environmental justice?
If crisis is synonymous with change, it may be this the historical
moment of a change of cycle. The time to make individual awareness that
existence is meaningful only if we share it with our neighbors in this
global village. That pride, individualism and competitiveness are
hallmarks of a failing system that benefits only an oligarchy. The greed
of this oligarchy is fed by our vanities. And our vanities are nothing
but void, injustice, irrationality, conceit and pride.
Transforming consumption to meet needs rather than vanities. Consume to transform.
Transforming consumption to meet needs rather than vanities. Consume to transform.
